CHEAP TO CHIC: WOOD AND WINE BARREL CHANDELIERS!

So, way back in February, I took this picture above of a chandelier that was made out of a wine barrel. I liked the concept...but didn't really know what to do with it. Thought if I had some big gothic home with a big gothic dining room that I might want to hang this HUGE fixture in the middle of said room for even more doom and gloom style drama.

Well low and behold as the months went on I kept seeing these so called "wine barrel" chandeliers all over the place. Seemed it was/is that wine barrel goth is de rigueur in home decor. I actually think the goal is to be rustic chic but to me these look like they belong in an old gothic castle with a man named Igor being the person charged with lighting them each night.

Don't get me wrong...I do like these chandeliers...the one above was huge and awe inspiring.

So, hence, today's CHEAP TO CHIC...with a few wood beaded chandeliers thrown in for good measure (and because they do not look goth)!
